Atlee’s Jawan starring SRK is slated to release on 7th September 2023 and fans are going frenzy over it. After the release of Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan prevue, fans were awestruck when they found out that Shah Rukh might be playing dual roles. The upcoming SRK movie is going to be entertaining and action-packed.

The movie also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Ridhi Dogra, and Sanya Malhotra alongside Shah Rukh. Deepika Padukone ‎also has a special appearance. However, Ridhi Dogra fans were disappointed when she was barely seen in the Jawan prevue.

The film is supposed to showcase multiple timelines, where Shah Rukh is portrayed as a soldier in one plotline and a vigilante in another.

The role that is grabbing attention is that of Ridhi Dogra, who plays the mother of Shah Rukh Khan’s character in Jawan

The age gap between lead actors is quite common in Bollywood as in most films older actors are seen romancing way younger actresses. But it so happens that many female actresses play the role of a mother to actors who are relatively older than them.

In the movie Laal Singh Chaddha, Mona Singh who is 41 played a mother to Aamir Khan who happens to be 58. Aamir is 17 years older than her. A similar thing happened in Jawan.

Ridhi Dogra is a 38-year-old young actress who will be seen playing a mother to Shah Rukh Khan who happens to be 57 years old. Ridhi is a popular actress who appears on television and is associated with several famous OTT web series. The talented actress is also known for her beauty. Ridhi recently made her Hindi film debut with Lakadbaggha.

At an event in Chennai, while speaking about Ridhi, SRK said,

“Ridhi who unfortunately is playing my mother. But next film we will work something out age wise.”
