Vivek Agnihotri Comes In Support Of Priyanka Chopra After She Shares Her Toxic Experience In Bollywood

Very often Priyanka Chopra Jonas receives a lot of spat for leaving the B-town and settling in Hollywood. However, no one talks about the struggle she constantly faced in the Hindi cinema industry. Nonetheless, PC mustered up a lot of courage and shared her side of the tale.She shared how she was constantly “being cornered” even after establishing herself in Bollywood.

Soon after this revelation a lot of personalities have come forward in order to show their support for our desi girl. One of the prominent ones is none other than Vivek Agnihotri.

Priyanka Chopra recently talked about the toxicity in B-town on the podcast Armchair Expert

Priyanka Chopra on the podcast Armchair Expert told host Dax Shepherd the reason behind leaving Bollywood. She shared the toxicity of Bollywood by saying as we quote,

“I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.”

She further added,

“This music thing gave me an opportunity to go into another part of the world, not crave for the movies I didn’t want to get but I would require to schmooze certain clubs and cliques of people. It would require groveling and I had worked a long time by then that I didn’t feel like I wanted to do it. So when this music thing came I was like ‘fu** it I am going to America.”

The Citadel actress also revealed how her manager Anjula Acharia helped her get out of the mess.

The Kashmir Files director Vivek Agnihotri who often grabs headlines for his comments on various topics has lauded Priyanka Chopra for her honesty. He took to Twitter and shared an article pertaining to PC’s latest statement on Bollywood. As he shared the article he lauded PC by writing only a few courageous ones have the strength to quit the gang of bullies and make their own universe of success.

He wrote as we quote,

“When big bullies bully, some kneel down, some surrender, some give up and leave, some take drugs, few have lost life too. Against this ‘impossible to defeat’ gang of bullies, very very few quit and make their own universe of success. Those are the real life stars..”

What is interesting to note is that his post came moments after Kangana Ranaut. Kangana also attacked a few people from B-town thereby showing her support for Priyanka Chopra.

Apparently, Kangana Ranaut alleged that it was the “flagbearer of nepotism” Karan Johar, who “banned” Priyanka Chopra from the Hindi film industry because of her “friendship” with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. In the eyes of Kangana, it was Karan Johar who harassed PC to the extent that she decided to leave B-town and make her own name in Hollywood.
