Recently, Priyanka Chopra came forward and shared why she quit the Bollywood industry. She told the world that she was tired of all the politics that was going on in B-town. The constant ‘being cornered” even after establishing herself was making her frustrated and thus, she wanted to get away from it.

Priyanka Chopra on the podcast Armchair Expert told host Dax Shepherd as we quote,

“I was being pushed into a corner in the industry (Bollywood). I had people not casting me, I had beef with people, I am not good at playing that game so I kind of was tired of the politics and I said I needed a break.”

Soon after PC made the revelation, filmmaker Apurva Asrani took to Twitter and came in support of Mrs. Jonas. He said that everyone knew about what PC was going through, nonetheless, everyone chose to remain silent.
