Mukesh Khanna stirred controversy because of his indecent remark against women

Khanna, who is most known for her roles as the superhero “Shaktimaan” and Bhishma Pitamah in BR Chopra’s “Mahabharat,” claimed that a female from a “civilized society” would never strike up a sexual discussion on her own.

In a recent video that was uploaded to his Bheeshm International YouTube page, the 64-year-old actor stated,

Koi bhi ladki agar kisi ladke ko kahe ‘I want to have sex with you’, wo ladki, ladki nahi hai, wo dhanda kar rahi hai

It implies that a woman who approaches a boy and asks for sex is not a girl but rather a sex worker. According to him, a nice girl from a civilized society wouldn’t say something like that.

As the video gained attention, Mukesh Khanna received vicious criticism from both genders. However, after seeing the entire video titled “Kya aapko bhi aisi ladkiya lubhati hain?” (Do such girls lure you as well), some online users backed him.

Let me tell you that in the video, Mukesh discussed how some unknown ladies pursue guys on social media and make sex offers to them. He attempted to raise awareness among males with his video. However, his specific words caused the video to backfire.

What Mukesh Khanna has to say about this controversy

Following the backlash, Khanna clarified that his intention was to get the young aware of the sex racket and that he was not commenting on typical man-woman relationships. Supporting his claims, he said,

I also get messages from girls, where they say they want to chat with me and they ask for nude photos. We don’t know whether it is actually a woman or a man. I also get messages, I do not reply to them. Some people who I know too have received messages from girls, who have their own channels.

For his alleged derogatory and sexist statements towards women, Khanna was the subject of a notification from the Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) to the Delhi Police Cyber Cell.
