On August 15 of this year, India will commemorate its 75th anniversary of independence. It was nothing less than a milestone, given the fact that when India got independence, many countries thought that India would be divided into pieces after getting independence. As we all know, after 75 years, India is still one country and has become the next potential superpower in the world.

That’s why on Independence Day, we must remember the sacrifices made by our independence warriors who gave their lives in the fight for freedom and, by their unwavering tenacity and patriotism, eventually forced the British empire to disband; because if they didn’t do what they did, we are also not there.

India gained its independence on August 15, 1947, bringing an end to almost 200 years of British control in the region. On July 4, 1947, the Indian Independence Bill was tabled in the British House of Commons, where it was swiftly approved. On August 15, 1947, it signalled the end of British rule in India. It then separated into India and Pakistan and attained independence.

Therefore, on August 15th every year, Independence Day is always observed with tremendous passion and excitement. However, other nations beyond India also observe Independence Day on August 15. On August 15, several other nations throughout the world also commemorate their independence or national holidays.

On the one hand, India was one of North Korea’s largest trading partners and a significant donor of food aid, but it was also a critic of North Korea’s track record of nuclear proliferation. On the other hand, due to a major convergence of interests, reciprocal goodwill, and high-level encounters, India-South Korea ties have advanced significantly and have really taken on a multifaceted character in recent years.
