Being expressive, Bollywood actress Swara Bhasker has carved a niche for herself in the industry with her fearless approach to her craft and advocacy. Nonetheless, she has frequently been the focus of public and media attention due to her involvement in protests and her criticism of governmental policy. However, despite this, whenever she gets an opportunity, she comments on various social issues and sparks another wave of outrage.
Recently, Swara criticized a netizen for a ‘proud vegetarian’ post on Bakri Eid. Her focus then shifted to a group of Jains in Delhi who had masqueraded as Muslims in order to save goats from being killed during the festival. Needless to say, her post received hundreds of mixed reactions.

Swara Bhasker reshared another post related to a similar incident
Furthermore, Swara reposted a tweet that said that Jains dressed up as Muslims for Bakri Eid appeared to be “less religion, more Islamophobia.”
Jeev Daya is a Jain concept in which one donates money in individual capacity to save animal lives. Normally we do so on our festivals. Release birds kept in cages, fund gaushalas, etc.
But to dress up as Muslims and do so on Bakrid seems less religion, more islamophobia.
