‘Kin Jahilo Mein Shaadi Karli,’ Says Sania Mirza During Act On Kapil Sharma’s Show; Video Goes Viral

Former tennis star Sania Mirza is well-known for her professional achievements. She made significant contributions in doubles and has won numerous Grand Slam titles and other prestigious tournaments. In 2010, she married Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik but over the years many rumors arose related to their relationship status.

Sania Mirza acquired a divorce (khula) from her husband earlier this year after Shoaib Malik married Pakistani actress Sana Javed. The tennis star’s family released a statement regarding the separation, advising fans to honor her privacy.

Sania is known to keep her personal matters private and she seldom comments on anything related to her personal life. But recently, her humorous remark about her marriage on Kapil Sharma’s show on Netflix garnered attention on social media.

Sania Mirza was recently seen along with Mary Kom, Saina Nehwal, and Sift Kaur Samra on the popular show “The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show,” which was featured on Netflix.

On the show, while enacting a situation, Sania played the role of a daughter-in-law, with Kapil as her mother-in-law. During the act, Kapil being the saas demands tea from the bahu played by Sania. To which the former ace Tennis player made a sassy remark about marrying into an illiterate family, she said,

“Kin Jaahilo mein mai ne shaadi kar li.”

This statement went viral and the netizens strongly reacted and speculated that Sania might have stated a fact hinting at her divorce from her ex-husband, Shoaib Malik.

Further in the video, when Sania served tea, Kapil asked if it was tea or poison, Sania gave a humorous reply and said:

“Mai ne toh chai hi banayi thi. Apke mooh ko lag kar zehar ho gayi hogi.”
