Sania Mirza’s Father Finally Speaks On Shoaib Malik Divorce Rumors After He Marries Sana Javed

On Saturday, the former Pakistan captain and Sania Mirza’s husband, Shoaib Malik announced his marriage to the Pakistani popular actor Sana Javed in Karachi. Malik divorced Indian tennis icon Sania Mirza and got married for the third time. The cricketer took to Instagram to post pictures from his wedding with Pakistan actor. The wedding pictures went viral on the internet.

Shoaib Malik was previously married to Indian tennis star, Sania, with whom he has a five-year-old son Izaan who lives with Sania. Shoaib and Sania got married in Sania’s hometown Hyderabad on 12 April 2010 and after that, they used to live in Dubai. Since 2022, there have been strong rumors about discrepancies between Shoaib Malik and Sania Mirza leading to a divorce. Both of them have rarely been spotted together in the last couple of years.

Just a few days back Malik also unfollowed the Sania on Instagram.

Who is Sana Javed?

Malik’s new wife Sana Javed is a popular actress who has starred in several hit drama serials and also acted in Pakistani films. She was previously married to singer Umair Jaiswal in 2020 at a simple ceremony amidst the coronavirus pandemic. According to reports, they got divorced two months earlier.

After the marriage news of Malik went viral in India, Sania’s father, Imran Mirza, reacted to it

After Malik’s public declaration of his wedding to the Pakistani actress in Karachi, Sania Mirza’s father, Imran Mirza, disclosed that his daughter and the 41-year-old former cricketer had divorced through ‘Khula’, before marrying the Pakistani actress.

Speaking to PTI, Imran said that

it was a ‘khula’

A khula is an Islamic jurisprudence through which a woman can initiate a divorce from her husband unilaterally.

Sania is one of India’s greatest tennis players who announced her retirement last year. In her 20-year-long career she had won 43 WTA doubles titles and one singles trophy, Sania was seen as a sports icon for women.

In the middle of all this, Sania had shared a cryptic note on her social media
