A popular television program, Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, has emerged as one of the most talked-about shows in recent years. Since many years ago, its cast has delighted viewers. However, its fans are angry right now, and it’s all because of the numerous actors who have left the show, from Shailesh Lodha to Bhavya Gandhi to Disha Vakani.
And now, star Raj Anadkat, who played the character of Tapu, has also announced his departure from the program
In the sitcom, the actor portrays Tapu, the little son of Jethalal (Dilip Joshi) and Daya (Disha Vakani).

While there were many rumors that he was going to leave the program, he used social media to put them to rest and declare his departure.
Recently, Tapu, aka Raj, thanked the cast of the show and other people in a lengthy statement posted on Instagram. His tweet has already gained popularity on social media, causing internet users to discuss it.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote,
“Hello everyone, it’s time to lay all questions and speculation to rest. My association with Neela Film Productions and ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ has officially ended. It has been a wonderful journey of learning, making friends and having some of the best years of my career.”
He added,

“I would like to thank everyone who supported me in this journey – The entire team of TMKOC, my friends, family and of course all of you. Everyone who welcomed me into the show and loved me as ‘TAPU’ Your love for my craft has always pushed me to give my best to each and every one of you, every single time. I wish the team of TMKOC all the very best for the future of the show. I’ll be back to entertain all of you very soon. Keep showering your love and support.”

Raj Anadkat has now addressed his alleged relationship with the actress after Munmun Dutta
In a recent interview, he decided to clarify the outrageous rumors in his most recent interview while discussing his departure from Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah. While acknowledging that distractions are a part of an actor’s life, the actor claimed he makes an effort to avoid them.
Hindustan Times cited Raj Anadkat as saying,
“There were random people talking about these things. But I was busy doing my thing and job. It’s (Gossip) a part of an actor’s life. I focus on my stuff and ignore these things. I tried to avoid the distractions. I don’t get bothered about rumours.”
Raj also acknowledged in an interview that there had been much conversation with the producers. But he was holding off on making the announcement until the “right time.” There were rumors that he left the program as a result of a disagreement with the producers, but the young actor denied these claims.
He told the Hindustan Times,

“Nothing went wrong. It was my decision. As an actor, I want to grow more in the field, try different genres and things. I did this character for five years and I’m grateful. But I wanted to do something else creatively. There was an understanding (between me and the production house). It just felt like I’m graduating from school to college. There’s no bitterness.”
Prior to that, Munmun Dutta also sent a letter to deny the relationship rumors
Dutta had criticized the press for promoting the same. After Bhavya Gandhi left the program, Raj stepped into the role of Tapu, Jethalal’s son. Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, which has been the longest television program, airs on Sony SAB.
