On the other hand, his tale is motivating and deserving of everyone’s attention. While we moan about the smallest inconvenience in our life, Uttarakhand’s Pradeep Mehra is balancing job, family, and his ambition to join the army.
Pradeep captured the focus of filmmaker Vinod Kapri as he drove his car along the boy running on the pavement. Despite being drenched in humidity, when Kapri offered him a ride to his destination, he politely declined.
This piqued the filmmaker’s interest, and he wanted to learn more about this young man. As a result, he continued talking while driving. The boy also disclosed why he was running 10 kilometres at midnight.

During his conversation with Kapri, Pradeep claimed he was on his way home from work at McDonald’s Sector 16 after his duty. Despite Vinod Kapri’s several offers to drive him home, he declined, claiming that he preferred to run home because he doesn’t have time to do it during the day. When asked why he was sprinting the entire distance, Pradeep responded,
“To join the army.”
The Uttrakhand youngster also told the filmmaker that he doesn’t have time to work out in the morning since he needs to get up at 8 a.m. every day to make meals before going to work. Mehra runs a 10-kilometre stretch every day from his office in Sector 16 in Noida to his house in Barola, where he lives with his younger brother. His mother is ill and has been admitted to the hospital.

Most individuals drive or take public transportation to traverse a distance of 10 kilometres or more between their office and their home. However, other people go for a long walk or cycle intentionally to keep active and healthy. It’s not surprising to see folks like these walking home from work. Every metropolis and the small village is influenced. Some, on the other hand, do it with commitment and a clear goal in mind.
