I usually enjoy taking the Indian trains since it allows me to experience things up close in an impossible manner on airplanes. Additionally, trains are cost-effective, which is why daily passengers like me mostly prefer trains to travel far away. But occasionally, the services offered by Indian Railways absolutely ruin my mood because they are consistently subpar.
Like me, other Indian rail passengers routinely suffered from this and complain about the subpar services provided by 2-tier and 3-tier trains. What most hurts or anger routine railway travelers is that these services are not improving by even 1%. Instead of this, they get worse and worse.

However, social media’s emergence has made it much easier to call attention to problems with the general service provided on trains. Customers can now mention Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Indian Railways that provides ticketing, catering, and tourism services to customers, on Twitter, where complaints are filed and promptly answered.
A passenger alleges that he got a dirty bedsheet which is covered with dust and someone’s else hair
Taking to Twitter, he wrote,
“@RailwaySeva @RailMinIndia Bedsheet & pillow cover r in extreme Unhygienic condition. Without cleaning it just packed in paper bag & provided us. other persons multiple hair is stuck on it and even smell bad like it was used earlier but not washed. High price and low clas service”

This is disgusting. Paying for better service and good journey experience. If you can’t do it better stop giving blankets and bedsheets. https://t.co/cj2NijomDg

These acts frequently damage the reputation of the Indian railways. And it’s not like the number of incidences is going down. In fact, they are growing and infuriating people about the services offered by Indian Railways.
