1. Virat Kohli pokes fun at Cheteshwar Pujara’s Fitness

Virat Kohli, India’s Test captain, posted a picture of himself on Twitter in May bowling a one-handed stunner while his teammate, Cheteshwar Pujara watched.

The caption was a friendly jab at Pujara’s fitness since the player is known for not being particularly active on the field, Virat wrote,

2. Virat Kohli teases Harbhajan Singh

In May 2020, the former off-spinner of Chennai Super Kings Harbhajan Singh posted a workout video of himself with the caption “Exercise is a must,” and Virat Kohli couldn’t hold back jibing at Bhajji’s advancing age.

Kohli wrote:

“Well done Paaji. Building kaamp rahi hai magar thodi thodi.” (The building is shaking a bit)

Kohli and Harbhajan are well-known for their close friendship since they won the 2011 World Cup together which made this exchange funnier and not so surprising.

3. ‘You always think it’s out’: Virat Kohli to Jadeja

Ravindra Jadeja, an Indian left-arm spinner, posted a photo on his Instagram account, captioned with a light-hearted

“Dekho bhai, meine nai bola hai review lene ko”

roughly translating to “I didn’t ask you to take the review”.

Virat Kohli commented

“Tujhe toh hamesha out hi lagta hai. Review lene ke baad sab doubts aate hain tujhe” (You always believe it to be out. But after requesting the evaluation, you begin to have second thoughts.)

4. Virat Kohli Makes Fun Of KL Rahul

KL Rahul, the former captain of Kings XI Punjab shared a picture of himself drinking coffee on Instagram. The batsman listed the beverage as one of his favourites in the image’s description and Virat Kohli joked in the comments

“Cup ganda hai. (The cup is dirty).”

5. Virat Kohli trolls TikTok Sensation Yuzi Chahal

Yuzvendra Chahal, who plays for both RCB and the Indian cricket team under Virat Kohli, has been quite active on social media particularly with his TikToks throughout the COVID-19 enforced lockdown.

The leggie took part in a funny interaction on the ‘Just Kidding’ with Virat Kohli show, uploaded onto the Indian cricket team’s Facebook page.

The spinner had a new haircut about which Virat couldn’t help but make fun of. Virat Kohli asked Chahal,

“Who cut your hair?”

To which Chahal replied,

“Bhaiyya my didi and I cut them together.” (My sister and I cut it together)

Kohli added,

“Acha. Mujhe laga tere dogs tere peeche padh gaye (I thought your dogs went after you)”
