Elon Musk responds to Sundar Pichai Chandrayaan-3

On 23rd August 2023, every Indian was filled with a feeling of immense pride as India became the first country to achieve a soft landing on the far side (Southern pole) of the moon. The successful landing of Chandrayaan 3 has made India join the club of only 3 countries who have so far made their touch on the surface of the moon! A Plethora of people from around the world have congratulated ISRO and India for this magnificent feat. Joining the bandwagon, Google CEO Sundar Pichai also made a congratulatory post.

Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared a congratulatory post on the success of Chandrayaan 3

Taking to X, which was formerly known as Twitter, Google CEO Sundar Pichai shared a post appreciating India and ISRO for its Chandrayaan 3 success. He wrote as we quote,

“What an incredible moment! Congratulations to @isro for the successful landing of #Chandrayaan3 on the moon this morning. Today India became the first country to successfully achieve a soft landing on the southern polar region of the moon.”

Elon Musk has been full of applause for India for executing the moon mission at a cost that is reasonably low compared to the other achievers. Now, taking to the post of Sundar Pichai he shared his opinion of the successful completion of this moon mission and the landing of Chandrayaan 3. Congratulating the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) after the successful completion of the mission he wrote a two-word reply saying,

Back in 2019, Chandrayaan 2 could not achieve its deserved success due to a minor error. It was one of the most saddening things for every Indian. However, 3 years and 10 months later ISRO made its comeback stronger than ever! The success of Chandrayaan-3’s ‘Vikram’ module is something that has etched the name of India as a scientific power.

With this feat, India has joined the exclusive club which includes 4 countries that have made their mark on the surface of the moon. These countries are –  the United States led the way, followed by Russia, then China, and now the fourth country is none other than India!
