Elon Musk applauds India’s presence on the global stage
Even Elon Musk, the billionaire businessman and CEO of Tesla, was impressed by this performance. Recently, he expressed his appreciation for this remarkable feat on his platform, X (formerly Twitter).
Musk’s remark was in response to a post published by the World of Statistics that included a lengthy list of business leaders of Indian ancestry. Sundar Pichai leads Google, while Satya Nadella, Neal Mohan, and Shantanu Narayen successively serve as the CEOs of Microsoft, YouTube, and Adobe. This strong representation of people of Indian ancestry also includes Ajay Banga, the 14th President of the World Bank Group, and business titans Laxman Narasimhan, Ravi Kumar S, and Sanjay Mehrotra, who are in charge of Starbucks, Cognizant, and Micron Technology, respectively.

Elon Musk to visit India in 2024
In another recent development, Elon Musk expressed his anticipation of visiting India in 2024. In response to a tweet from DogeDesigner, who amusingly posted a photoshopped image of Musk dressed in Indian garb and expressed a wish to visit India in 2019, Musk said, “I look forward to it.”
This declaration comes after Musk’s discussion with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi during the latter’s June visit to New York. Following this conversation, the Prime Minister invited Musk to visit India again the following year. Reportedly, the businessman enthusiastically accepted the offer.
These intentions coincide with Tesla’s goals to establish a foothold in India and make a contribution to the fast-developing automotive industry there. The response from Elon Musk and his upcoming trip show how linked the world’s economies are and how important India is becoming as a center of opportunity and innovation.
