Arora shared his terrifying tale on Twitter. He described how, after ordering a packet of bread through Blinkit, he got a terrible surprise from the courier.

Not dead or half-dead, Nitin Arora found an alive rat in his packet.

It is astonishing that neither the person packaging the order nor the delivery person felt the rat’s presence. No one has any idea how the rodent ended up inside the package.

“Most unpleasant experience with @letsblinkit, where alive rat was delivered inside the bread packet ordered on 1.2.23. This is alarming for all of us. If 10 minutes delivery has such baggage, @blinkitcares. I would rather wait for a few hours than take such items.#blinkit #zomato”

In addition to displaying the horrific bread package, Arora also included a screenshot of Blinkit’s poor customer service.

Soon, another netizen, who was apparently at the scene, uploaded the video of the bread, in which it was clearly seen that the rat is alive and his heart is beating very fast.

Now, the business has responded to the issue in the comments section. Replying to Nitin, Blinkit wrote,

“Hi Nitin, this is not the experience we wanted you to have. Please share your registered contact number or Order ID via DM for us to look into it.”

The allegations have gotten a lot of attention, with many other people also reporting the same problems.
