Abhishek Bachchan Walked Out Of Riteish Deshmukh’s Show After A Joke On Amitabh Bachchan

Prominent actor Abhishek Bachchan has always been the center of attention since his start. Apart from being the son of Bollywood legends Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, his acting skills have carved his own niche in the Indian film industry. However, in recent times, junior Bachchan has been in the news for all the wrong reasons. From his divorce rumors to his long-due successful comeback, his personal as well as professional life has been scrutinized heavily in the media. Nevertheless, this is not his first time being in the news for the wrong reasons.

A similar kind of incident happened in 2022 that left everyone shocked when Abhishek Bachchan stormed Riteish Deshmukh’s chat show in the middle. It all happened after Paritosh Tripathi’s joke on Amitabh Bachchan didn’t sit well with Abhishek, which left him angry.

A joke on Amitabh Bachchan irked Abhishek Bachchan

In 2022, Abhishek Bachchan made an appearance on “Case Toh Banta Hai,” a program hosted by Riteish Deshmukh. At first, it seemed like everyone was having a great time, laughing heartily, and making jokes. But after comedian Paritosh Tripathi, posing as a celebrity troll made a playful comment about Amitabh’s renownedly long hands, things took an unexpected turn.

The joke was supposed to be funny, but Abhishek seemed like he was insulted. Speaking in Hindi, he reprimanded the comedian for going too far and said,

I’m all game for myself. I understand comedy, but let’s not bring parents into it. Mere tak rakhiye na, aap pitaji pe wo… Main thora sensitive ho jata hu. Wo mere pita hai, acha nahi lagta. Ussi ko leke main bol raha hu ki thori si izzat deni chahiye hum log ko. Comedy ke isme itna bhi nahi karna chahiye hum log ko, hum log kya hai na aaj kal beh jaate hai.

Additionally, Abhishek had demanded the show is director, saying that the jokes were becoming “a bit too much now.” But while the director attempted to prevent things from becoming worse, Abhishek became even more furious. Eventually, he walked off the set. Speaking about this, he said,

It’s okay. Let me say what I have to say—I’m not a fool.

This left Riteish and Paritosh to talk about what was happening. The comedian became seemingly worried. He was seen questioning Varun Sharma and Riteish Deshmukh about whether Abhishek was offended by the joke regarding Amitabh’s hands. Then, Riteish told Abhishek that his father was everything for him. Paritosh firmly agreed that everyone had the same sentiments. Later on, he made it clear that he never meant to offend Abhishek.

In a dramatic turn of events, as Paritosh’s anxiety increased, Abhishek reappeared on stage and revealed it was a prank. The actor startled the comedian by saying:

Kya bola tha maine? Iss line mein main tera baap hu. Boss, troll aise karte hai.

This left everyone in giggles and the episode goes on lightheartedly.

Meanwhile, after the dull release of Shoojit Sircar’s ‘I Want To Talk,’ Abhishek Bachchan is set to feature in multiple projects. He will soon appear in the upcoming films ‘Housefull 3’ and ‘Be Happy,’ promising an exciting lineup for his fans.
