One of the most underrated actors in the Bollywood industry is the son of Big B, Abhishek Bachchan. He is one of the prominent actors in the industry. Though his acting skills have been questioned many times he never failed to prove his talent. The characters he played in movies like Ravan and Guru were outstanding.

He also played the lead roles in Bol Bachchan and Bluffmaster, in which he excelled. Though all of the movies were not successful he has been part of many good movies.

Here are the some movies that Abhishek Bachchan could’ve been a part of but he couldn’t:

1. Bhoot Police (2021)

This movie was released on the OTT platform Disney+Hotstar. The movie and cast were announced in 2019 where the leads were Saif Ali Khan, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Fana Sheikh. Later the creators made specific changes to the cast Arjun Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Yami Gautam, and Jacqueline Fernandez became a part of the project. It is a Hindi horror comedy film related to Tantrik stuff so Abhishek Bachchan was selected for the lead role at first but later it was passed on to Saif Ali Khan.

2. Humraaz (2002)

This is one of the most popular romantic movies in the Bollywood industry. Directed by the duo, Abbas Mastan. The main lead was Bobby Deol and Akshaye Khanna and Actress was Ameesha Patel.

One of the producers revealed that Abhishek Bachchan was the first priority over Akshaye Khanna. It was heard that a lot of people allegedly complained about Akshaye Khanna’s bad behavior on sets but the movie turned out to be a great success.

3. Gayab (2004)

This movie took Tusshar Kapoor’s acting career to heights. Not a popular movie but it is quite entertaining. The ABCL (Amitabh Bachchan Corporation Ltd.) picked up the script of this movie and Abhishek was supposed to be a part of it.

4. Lagaan (2001)

Can you believe that Abhishek Bachchan was first selected for the role of Aamir Khan in Lagaan? Junior Bachchan declined the offer and so did many actors but Lagaan became a blockbuster. At that time Abhishek Bachchan was occupied with Khelein Hum Jee Jaan se which also fared well at the box office.

5. Bhoot (2003)

This Hindi horror movie features famous actors like Ajay Devgn, Urmila Matondkar, Nana Patekar, Tanuja, Rekha, Fardeen Khan, Seema Biswas, and many others. Directed by Ram Gopal Varma aka RGV. RGV wanted Abhishek Bachchan in this classic thriller movie, but Abhishek was busy shooting LOC.

6. Dil Chahta Hai (2001)

Dil Chahta Hai stands as one of the cult classics of the 2000s in the Bollywood industry. Farhan Akhtar emerged as one of the directors in the industry. He revealed that Abhishek Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, and Akshaye Khanna were on his mind as the dream cast. But later Aamir Khan and Saif Ali Khan came into the cast and agreed to do the movie. Dil Chahta Hai became a sensational hit.
