Diljit Dosanjh is a global icon who is ruling the stage with his ongoing Dil-Luminati India Tour concerts. The Punjabi-singer actor has a million fans worldwide and his songs are ruling the global charts. Diljit is performing in several major cities across India including Indore. A day before Diljit Dosanjh’s Indore concert, Bajrang Dal started protests after news circulated that the gig would involve the serving of alcohol and meat.
The protests took place in the city, as the Bajrang Dal were against such provisions at the concert due to its cultural implications. Due to the protests, the organizers accepted the demands but Diljit slammed them in his own way.

Protests against Diljit’s concert in Indore
Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh performed in Indore for a huge crowd on Sunday. Members of the Bajrang Dal protested against him and his concert in Indore over the “open sale of liquor and meat” at the concert venue.
A member of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP), Yash Bachani, voiced strong opposition, saying,
“Bajrang Dal got information about a concert happening in the city where there would be open liquor, and meat would be served. We have come here to inspect the same.”
He added,
“We are also alert about any Love Jihad incident happening here. We oppose the open liquor and serving of meat to protect the culture in the city. Bajrang Dal can come out on the streets to protest against the concert tomorrow”
Local BJP MLAs Golu Shukla and Usha Thakur were supporting these protests.

During the concert, Diljit responded to his haters by reciting a few lines from Rahat Indori’s famous ‘Agar Khilaf Hai Hone Do’
The Lover singer paused his Indore concert and recited the lines from veteran lyricist Rahat Indori’s famous ‘Agar Khilaf Hai Hone Do’. Responding to the protests, the singer said,
“Agar Khilaf Hai Hone Do Jaan Thodi Hai, Yeh Sab Dhuaan Hai Koi Aasmaan Thodi Hai, Sab Ka Khoon Hai Shaamil Yahan Ki Mitti Mein, Kisi Ke Baap Ka Hindustaan Thodi Hai.”

No Alcohol or Meat was served at Diljit Dosanjh’s Indore Concert
As the protests subsided, the event proceeded without any hindrance, with no alcohol or meat served at the Indore venue of the concert.
