Aakash Chopra's Mouth Shutting Reply To Pakistani Fan

India thrashed Australia for 177 runs on Thursday at the Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium in Nagpur, thanks in large part to the undefeated 56 of Rohit Sharma. At the end of Day 1, India had 77 runs to their name and needed 101 runs more to surpass the visitors.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat first, Australia’s captain Pat Cummins’ choice backfired due to the Indian team’s bowling effort led by Ravindra Jadeja. India bowled out Australia for a pitiful score thanks to Jadeja’s five-wicket haul and Ravichandran Ashwin’s three wickets.

After India dominated on the first day of the first Test, former cricketer, and broadcaster Akash Chopra posed the following question on Twitter:

What if ‘the best chance to beat India in India’ turns out to be a damp squib?

His post has gotten various kinds of reactions, with many people from all over the world reacting to it. However, without any reason, Pakistani fans swamped his tweet’s comment section with comments praising the Pakistani cricket team.

However, one Pakistani fan’s tweet attracted Chopra’s attention. Needless to say, an outspoken commentator can’t stop himself from giving a befitting reply to a Pakistani fan

In the comment section of his tweet, one Pakistani fan commented,

Only Pakistan have abilty to beat India in india.

Responding to it, Aakash Chopra wrote,

I love your positivity but janaab, aap Apne ghar ki series toh Jeet lo. With Australia, England and NZ at home. Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and WI in away series, Pakistan should have reached the WTC finals already.

The tweet from Aakash Chopra on Pakistan’s latest Test performance is not without merit.

Pakistan fared very poorly at home, including a 3-0 humiliation at the hands of England the previous year, and has little chance of making the World Team Cup final. Pakistan’s World Test Championship cycle for 2021–2023 is over, and they are now stuck in seventh place on the nine-team points standings. The Pakistani team under Babar Azam has lost its last eight home matches.

When a resurgent Virat Kohli’s exploits in Australia gave the Men in Blue the win, the Asian heavyweights also succumbed to their arch-enemies in the T20 World Cup’s opening encounter. Additionally, their hopes of reaching the ICC World Test Championship final in 2021–2023 are all but gone.

On the other hand, India, which is currently engaged in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, still has a chance to get to the World Test Championship final if they defeat Australia. Given that Australia was dismissed for a pitiful 177 on the first day of the first test in Nagpur, host nation India has the edge in the series. India rallied under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, adding 77 runs to their total after KL Rahul lost his lone wicket.
