Just days after another mix-up from Zomato in food delivery, a similar incident has come to light. A man ordered a veg thali for his pregnant wife who is on a strict vegetarian diet. However, instead of receiving the preferred order, they got a non-veg thali. To say that it distressed them both would be a sheer understatement.
X user Shobhit Siddharth took to the platform and shared a concerning matter pertaining to the food mix-up from Zomato
Shobhit Siddharth, an X user, recently shared a concerning incident on social media involving his Zomato order. Well, despite requesting a paneer thali, he received a chicken thali instead. This mix-up was particularly problematic because the vegetarian meal was intended for his pregnant wife, who has been advised to avoid non-vegetarian food during her first trimester. Siddharth emphasized the potential health risks associated with such a mistake, as it could have led to contamination and posed a threat to his wife’s well-being.

“Zomato care to explain why a non veg thali was sent when the order was of paneer thali, how do you expect a vegetarian to eat chicken, care to explain, that also she is a pregnant lady, what if things could have gone wrong?”
