To receive food items that are not of your preferred choice can be deeply disturbing. Especially when you are a vegetarian but you received a non-veg item. Something similar happened with a Pune-based man. He ordered paneer biryani from a popular food delivery company, Zomato, only to receive chicken pieces in it. He took to the social media platform and shared this incident thereby claiming that it deeply hurt his religious sentiments.
Man alleged that he discovered a piece of chicken in a paneer biryani that he ordered from Zomato
Food holds significant cultural and spiritual symbolism in many faith traditions. While receiving non-veg food may not be a concern for some people, many people take it to their hearts which is also very much justified. Receiving non-vegetarian food instead of the specifically ordered vegetarian option can be deeply distressing for those whose religious sentiments forbid the consumption of meat.
Recently, a man named Pankaj Shukla raised concerns after discovering a piece of chicken in his paneer biryani ordered from PK Biryani House in Karve Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra. Despite receiving a refund, he emphasized feeling offended due to his vegetarian beliefs. He considered it a violation of his religious sentiments.
He took to X, formerly known as Twitter to talk about the matter. Via his post, he expressed his disappointment. His post highlights the importance of adhering to dietary preferences, particularly in a multicultural society where religious practices hold significant importance.
Here have a look at the post made by him on X
Pankaj Shukla made a post on X by writing a caption as we quote,

The comment section reflects a spectrum of reactions
with some users finding humor in the situation, while others express criticism towards the food delivery service provider.
One user humorously remarked on the restaurant’s name, implying that with a name like “PK,” one should expect unconventional offerings like “PK biryani.” Others advised Pankaj to exercise caution in the future, suggesting he only order from pure vegetarian establishments to avoid similar mishaps.
