Recently, Vivek Agnihotri questioned a Twitter user who asked him to feed the poor people instead of promoting his book. It all started after, Agnihotri took to his social media on Wednesday morning and announced that he will be distributing free books to those who can’t afford it. He wrote:

 “A great book by @subhash_kak and @GarudaPrakashan. At @i_ambuddha foundation we will be sending a lots of this great book FREE to those who can’t afford it. Details coming soon.”

As the post went viral, it was flooded with reactions from fans

Among many, a Twitter user tried to troll him by asking him to feed the poor instead of promoting his books. A Twitter user wrote,

 “Instead of these books, please feed poor people free (folded hands emojis).”

In his Tweet, Vivek gave it back to the Twitter user, who tried to troll him. He wrote,

Talking about his professional front, from making films on the controversial death of former Indian Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri and Naxalites, to showcasing the ugly truth behind the genocide of Kashmiri Pandits in his movie The Kashmir Files, Vivek Agnihotri has always attempted sensitive issues in his movies.

He received praise from all corners for his last release movie The Kashmir Files, which was based on the exodus of the Kashmiri Pandits from the valley in the 1990s. The movie that features Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar, Chinmay Mandlekar, and Bhasha Sumbli, highlighted the ugly time that the Kashmiri Pandits had to go through.

Vivek is currently working on his upcoming movie titled The Vaccine War. The Vaccine War, which stars Anupam Kher, Nana Patekar, Sapthami Gowda, and Pallavi Joshi, is scheduled to be released in theatres later this year.
