Sippline Founder reply Ashneer Grover And Aman Gupta

The first season of Shark Tank India, which debuted in December 2021, ended in February with a bang, but the show remains popular with viewers.

Many entrepreneurs pitched their company ideas in front of a panel of investors on the reality TV show, which also featured ex-Managing Director and Co-Founder of BharatPe Ashneer Grover, who recently left the fintech startup and BOAT co-founder Aman Gupta.

One of the most popular pitches was Sippline Drinking Shields, founded by Rohit Warrier. He began his presentation by explaining how glasses may get dusty and lipstick can get stuck on the curved corners. He added that when we go to workplace parties or cat parties and buy drinks, the edges of the glasses are sometimes not wiped. By creating a product under his startup, Rohit was able to solve this problem.

Let me explain to you about Sippline Drinking Shield is a sterile, reusable, and transportable accessory. This will fit on our glasses and keep our lips from contacting the glass as we drink. Sippline’s goal is to have people wear glass masks.

While seeing Grover losing his mind is no big deal. In fact, there are many times he did this. One of them is the instance when Rohit Warrier presented the sharks with his product, Sippline Drinking Shields, a portable accessory for your glass, during one episode. Grover dubbed the product “wahiyat,” while co-founder and Chief Marketing Officer of boAt, Aman Gupta, chuckled.

On Shark Tank India, Ashneer Grover told Rohit Warrier, the founder of Sippline Drinking Shields,

“Bhai kya kar raha hai yaar tu? Mazak hai kya? Aap kya bohot zyada peete ho kya? Matlab ye idea apke dimaag mein aya bhi kaise ki glass ko mask pehnauga?”

Grover, who never sugarcoat his remarks, had questioned Warrier whether he was joking and if he drank a lot. He went on to say,

“Mere ismein bohot strong views hain… Ye jo product hai na matlab isse wahiyat product maine zindagi mein na dekha hai na mai dekhna chahta hu… mujhe bhagwan utha le… iske baad main kuch nahi dekhna chahta life mein.”

At this comment, Aman Gupta couldn’t control his laughter.

Rohit had previously stated that he respects Grover’s perspective, but that many others would have various feelings regarding his ‘glass ka mask.’ Now, Ashneer Grover and Aman Gupta appear to have been roasted by the Shark Tank India pitching. He mocks the two sharks by posing a “wahiyat” inquiry and cleverly pokes fun at Gupta’s BoAt in a video that has gone viral on YouTube.

He states in this video that the weekend’s “wahiyat” inquiry is the brand of headphones he has. He says,

“Yeh made in China stamped in India nahi hai, yeh Bose ka QC 30 hai.”

He went on to say that he admires Bose, where he began his career and learned the value of the invention. He says,

“Mai Bose ka bohot bada fan hun. Maine apna career Bose se shuru kiya tha. Innovation ka importance Maine Bose se seekha.”

He also adds that the spectacles he is wearing are from LensKart.

For those who don’t get it, Rohit was attempting to poke fun at both Aman and Ashneer.

However, many fans of the show, did not think it was fair. Some others requested Rohit to use the sharks’ criticism to come up with something ‘more useful’ in the comments section below.
