Shark Tank India is a reality television show that is originally a replica of Shark Tank, an American business programme that has inspired millions of young entrepreneurs throughout the country and shown its immense appeal among viewers, has been a source of inspiration in India. The show assists start-ups by presenting business plans to a panel of seven sharks or investors who determine whether or not the firm is worth investing in.

On December 20, 2021, Sony TV began showing the Indian version of the Shark Tank reality show. Without any doubt, the show has been a hit, attracting talented people from all around the country to perform. All thanks to India’s love for businesses and show’s PR.

Peyush Bansal is the founder and CEO of Lenskart, an eyewear-focused e-commerce site. In 2017, he began his career as a Program Manager at Microsoft Corporation. Bansal was only there for a year.

Vineeta Singh is the co-founder of SUGAR Cosmetics, an Indian cosmetic company. After earning her MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, she turned down a one-crore-per-year placement offer from a big investment bank to launch her own HR services company, which proved to be a failure.

5. Ashneer Grover

Ashneer Grover is the MD and co-founder of BharatPe, as well as the show’s most despised shark. His first position after obtaining his MBA in finance in 2006 was as a vice-president at Kotak Investment Banking, where he worked for seven years.

Ghazal Alagh is the co-founder of MamaEarth, an Indian cosmetics company. From 2008 to 2010, she worked at NIIT Limited as a Corporate Trainer and started her career.
