Interestingly his youngest daughter Arwa also joined in to ask a super cute question!

As he continued to share his predictions for the ongoing World Cup, Arwa made an unexpected entrance to the talk show and began to inquire about her brother-in-law, Shaheen Afridi. Their adorable and heartwarming interaction quickly caught the attention of the internet. For those unfamiliar with the family dynamics, Shaheen Afridi tied the knot with Ansha, Shahid Afridi’s second daughter, back in February 2023.

Shaheen Afridi is a well-renowned bowler who hails from Pakistan. His marriage with Ansha was also very intimate and more than just beautiful. His little sister-in-law asked a super cute question regarding him and to say it has taken the internet by storm would be a sheer understatement.

Arwa asked her father, Shahid Afridi, “Papa, is Shaheen Afridi also in the Pakistan team?”

In the now-viral video, one can witness how Arwa cutely asked her father Shahid Afridi if Shaheen Afridi is also in team Pakistan. Journalist Farid Khan took to X (formerly known as Twitter) in order to share this cute snippet. Arwa inquired as we quote,

“Daddy, is Shaheen Afridi a part of the Pakistan team too?”

To this, Shahid Afridi, the retired cricket legend, responded,

“Indeed, Shaheen Afridi is representing the Pakistan team.”

The young one followed up with,

“Kyun hai (Why is that)?”

Shahid Afridi playfully replied,

“We’ll have that question ready for him if he ever has an off day on the field.”

Pakistan faced a crushing defeat both at the hands of Australia and Afghanistan

Seems like Shahid Afridi’s prediction went wrong because Pakistan faced a crushing defeat from Australia. On 20 October 2023, Australia emerged victorious as they won by 62 runs. Not just this, but even last night Pakistan had to face defeat at the hands of Afghanistan.  To say that the win of Afghanistan against Pakistan was more than just historic would not be so wrong.

Currently, Pakistan is at spot five on the Points table. However, if they maintain this streak of losses then they definitely won’t be able to reach the semi-finals. Time will tell what happens next.
