Using the platform X, which was formerly known as Twitter, Malik posted pictures from what looked to be their wedding ceremony. In the shared photos, Malik and Javed were seen embracing each other. The photos were also accompanied with the caption, saying,

Before their formal announcement, rumors had been circulating regarding a possible love relationship between Sana Javed and Pakistani cricket player Shoaib Malik. Last year, Malik publicly wished Javed a happy birthday on social media and included a shared photo with the message. It heightened rumors and gave rise to more suspicion. However, at that time Shoaib Malik addressed her as a friend.

Notably, Malik has publicly defended Javed in the past when she was the target of criticism for her purported actions with juniors and makeup artists on a drama set. At that point, Malik defended Javed’s moral integrity by saying,

Nevertheless, neither Sania nor Shoaib said anything about their divorce officially.
