Before this, the Pakistani cricketer was married to Sania Mirza, rumors of relationship issues between Malik and Sania struck the eyes of the media when they shared fewer moments together on social media and Shoaib unfollowed her on Instagram.
After Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik announced his marriage to actor Sana Javed, Sania Mirza’s family confirmed that the couple has split up. Doubts about Sania and Shoaib’s marital status became true when Shoaib Malik shared pictures of his wedding to Sana Javed and Sania’s family and team decided to address the situation. As Shoaib’s wedding news circulated, the Pakistani cricketer and Sania became the topic of discussion, and old videos of them started resurfacing on the internet
One particular clip of their interview with superstar Shah Rukh Khan resurfaced on the internet.
In the video, SRK asked Sania what led to their quick marriage, to which she responded that he is a genuine and shy person. She replied,
“Maine toh bohot kuch dekha hai inmein. Bohot shy hain.” She added that the “king of romance” might need to help with romance as he is not good at it. “Ye appko sikhana padega inko baat karna.” (“I’ve seen a lot in him. He’s quite shy; you need to teach him how to talk.”)
When Shoaib Malik is asked the same question by SRK, he replies,
“Sochne ka time nahi mila usse pehle shadi ho gayi.” (He got married before he even got the time to think about it)
His response was unexpected and has upset a lot of people.

In the video, the SRK also asks Malik,

The Pakistani cricketer smiles and says,

“Koi jawab nahi dia, kyunki jawab jo tha wo saath mein leke jaa raha tha main toh isliye jawab dena nahi pada.”
Following this, the Dunki actor says,
“Shoaib ne backstage bataya, maine isse poocha ki mai ek sawal tumse poochunga ki jo waha ki ladkiya hai unko tumne kya kaha. Toh inhone ne kaha ki e ki koi baat nahi yaar, intezaar karo, tumse bhi karlunga. Aisa ussne bola. Mau jhooth nahi bolta.”
