The unfortunate and tragic demise of B-town star Sushant Singh Rajput has urged several prominent personalities to break their silence and come forward to expose the dark side of Bollywood. It has also opened a can of worms. People from the film industry are opening up about the monopoly that is Bollywood. Saif Ali Khan, Farhan Akhtar, and Anubhav Kashyap‘s statements against Salman Khan have proven how the industry lacks empathy, is lonely, and is willing to crush anybody who goes against the power structure.
Now actress Raveena Tandon has come forward to share her thoughts on Bollywood camps and dirty politics within the film industry.

Sharing her experience, the Andaz Apna Apna actress wrote that she has been made fun of, removed from films by heroes, their girlfriends, ‘journo chamchas’ and their fake media stories. ‘Sometimes, careers are destroyed. You struggle to keep afloat, fight back. Some survive, some don’t,’ shared Tandon with the #OldWoundsRevisited.
In a series of tweets, Raveena wrote,

Raveena Tandon, star of films such as Shool, Aks, Ziddi, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and the cult comedy Andaz Apna Apna, was labelled a “jinx” by the film industry for starring in a series of flops before her breakout role in 1994’s Mohra. Ms Tandon, winner of the National Award for Best Actress for her work in Daman, is now married to distributor Anil Thadani and makes sporadic appearances in films such as 2017’s Shab.

It can happen to someone born within,an “insider” as I can hear insider/outsider words, some anchors blaring away. But you fight back. The more they tried to bury me,the harder I fought back. Dirty politics happen everywhere. But sometimes one roots for good to win,and Evil to lose. https://t.co/NMIkUgkLbW

If these claims are true. it would be a shame how highly talented and intellectually sound people are ignored, ill-treated, and ignored by the industry.
