Raj Anadkat Responds To People On Rumoured Relationship With Co-Star Munmun Dutta

There have been rumours that Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actors Munmum Dutta and Raj Anadkat are dating each other. As per a report in ETimes, Munmun Dutta who plays Babita Ji in the sitcom and Raj Anadkat who plays Tappu are head-over-heels in love with each other. These rumours started floating after fans noticed Raj’s flirtatious comments on Munmun’s Instagram posts and reel videos.

The rumours soon started spreading like wildfire on social media and people flooded her comment section with nasty remarks. Actor Raj Anadkat has reacted to dating rumours with co-star Munmun Dutta. Raj took to Instagram, shortly after Munmun shared her reaction post, to address the rumours.

On Sunday, Munmun Dutta had also taken to Instagram to bash media outlets and trolls in a now-deleted post. She had addressed the issue in two separate notes. In the first note addressed to the media houses, she criticised media outlets for publishing ‘imaginary’ and ‘made-up’ articles about her.

In the second note, she accused netizens of showering her with ‘filth’ in the comment section. This, she felt, showed how regressive our society is. She also spoke about how women are constantly age shamed, slut-shamed, mom-shamed at the cost of humour.

After Munmum Dutta, Raj has also shared a statement on his social media that read,

“To everyone, who has been constantly writing about me, THINK of the repercussions that can happen in my life because of your ‘COOKED UP’ (false) stories and that too about my life without my consent. All the creative people out there please channelise your creativity somewhere else it will be helpful to you. May God bless them with good sense.”

Munmun plays Babita on Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah while Raj plays Tapu on the show. On the show, Tapu’s father Jethalal, played by Dilip Joshi, is shown to have a crush on Babita.
