R Madhavan lost his house for Rocketry fact

The film, which hit theatres on July 1st and was released on OTT platforms on July 26, 2022, chronicles the life of Nami Narayan, a well-known Indian scientist who was once charged with being a spy. But later in his life, after struggling a lot, he got a clean chit from these charges.

Madhavan opened up about rumours that he had lost his house

After a sluggish start, Madhavan’s Rocketry maintained well and finally amassed respectable figures in terms of box office receipts thanks to its moderate budget.

However, some of Madhavan’s admirers believe he lost his home in order to finance his most ambitious endeavour, because it was said that he revealed this to Siddharth Kannan on his programme. R. Madhavan had claimed that he had worked on a number of initiatives to help them raise money for their movie.

According to the claims, he also stated that he doesn’t own a home and had told his wife that if Rocketry is released, they would buy a luxurious property. Taking to Twitter, one user posted about the same rumour in the following tweet:

“Madhavan lost his house to fund #Rocketry and directed this movie when the original director had opted due to prior commitments. On another note, his son, Vedaant, is winning medals for the nation in swimming. Salute for Maddy!”

However, Madhavan has now clarified on Twitter that his movie “Rocketry” has generated significant money and that he still resides in his home. R Madhavan responded to the claims through Twitter by saying,

“Oh Yaar. Pls don’t over patronize my sacrifice. I did not lose my house or anything. In fact all involved in Rocketry will be very proudly paying heavy Income Tax this year. Gods grace We all made very good and proud profits. I still love and live in my house.”
