Mohammed Shami shared a moment with Preity Zinta and the tweet has gone viral

Undoubtedly, the cricketers have also shared a good rapport with these B-town superstars and are often seen interacting with them after matches or posing for social-media content for the league or franchise.

This Saturday, veteran India bowler Mohammed Shami, who plays for Gujarat Titans, took to Twitter to share a moment from his interaction with Bollywood superstar Preity Zinta. The Bollywood heartthrob is the co-owner of Punjab Kings. The picture was taken right after the IPL 2023 match between Punjab and Gujarat Titans, defending champions, in Mohali on Thursday.
Shami was previously part of the Punjab franchise between 2019 and 2021 before Gujarat Titans picked him in 2022, where he played a crucial role in the team’s title haul in the previous season.
However, Shami’s caption left fans perplexed which led the post to go viral on social media.

However, Punjab lost that match against GT at home on Thursday, incurring their second straight defeat after they started their campaign with two wins in a row. Gujarat, on the other hand, recovered from the onslaught they faced from Rinku Singh at home, to beat PBKS by six wickets in what was a last-over thriller.
The win saw GT climb to the third spot in the points table as is now only the third team to have secured three wins in IPL 2023 so far after Lucknow Super Giants and Rajasthan Royals.
