Rajkummar Rao Comes In Support Of His Girlfriend Patralekha After People Trolled For Her Outfit

Bollywood celebrities are easy targets for body shaming and trolling on social media. Recently, Patralekha was made fun of by fashion bloggers for a particular outfit she wore to the screening of Guilty. The actress did not stand by and get trolled. She took to Instagram to hit back at the fashion bloggers and asserted her choice of clothing.

Well, the actress recently attended the special screening of Netflix’s latest movie Guilty featuring Kiara Advani in the lead role. For the event, Patralekha wore a black crop top along with a jacket of the same color and jeans. While she looked absolutely stunning in that outfit, but her outfit didn’t go down well with many netizens who trolled her left, right and center for the outfit.

After receiving criticism for her outfit, Patralekha then took to her social media and hit out at the trolls by writing a long note for the trollers. Sharing a picture of herself in the same outfit on her Instagram account, Patralekha wrote:

“I wore this outfit to a screening and got papped! A few fashion bloggers picked it up (thank you for that) but I happened to read the comments section below and they were filled with negativity. I was a bit shocked about people spewing so much negativity and personal attack in their comments. WHY? It’s my body I will wear what I like and what I want. If i look cheap,wannabe,this shape, that size etc, its really none of anyone’s business. My body my armour! I will wear what I want to wear. #HappyWomens’day2020. Celebrating today and everyday. Strong today, Stronger tomorrow.”

Bollywood actor and boyfriend of Patralekha, Rajkumar Rao also came out in support of the actress after she faced criticism. Praising how ‘pretty’ she looks in the outfit, Rajkumar Rao wrote “Prettiest girl ever,” along with heart-eyes, fire and heart emojis.
