Munawar Faruqui Family Man 2

One of the most turbulent areas on the internet is Twitter. The social media network, which is akin to a digital war, has millions of users who are always online arguing about the tiniest of issues.

Munawar Faruqui, a reality TV personality and stand-up comedian, is no stranger to controversy, having previously been jailed for allegedly insulting remarks about Hindu deities, as well as competing in and winning ALTBalaji’s popular reality program Lock Upp.

However, because of all these things which happened in his life whether being jailed or winning the Lock Upp, they made him a household name. Now, a lot of people know him and followed what he said.

But seems that Munawar appears to have courted trouble yet again with one of his tweets.

Expressing his dissatisfaction with the quality of Indian web shows, Munawar wrote,

“Yeh sare indian web shows season 2 mai hugg kyun dete hain?”

Fans replied to their tweets as well, with Suman’s tweet capturing their hearts.

Soon, after this, his tweet viral on social media and people are reacting to it. While several sections of the internet agreed with Munawar’s viewpoints, it was when a specific character appeared out of nowhere and altered a popular opinion.

Munawar’s popular tweet prompted Suman Kumar, the writer for Family Man 2, to reply. In an attempt to remind the stand-up comedian that his hypothesis was nothing more than a gross oversimplification, given the critical and financial accolades that the Manoj Bajpayee starrer had garnered at the debut of its second season, he wrote concisely,

“Excuse me?”

This sparked a Twitter meme frenzy, with many admitting that Family Man 2 is an exception to Munawar Faruqui’s notion that Indian web shows’ second seasons are largely incapable of delivering excellent quality and deserved sequels following a promising first season.

The second-season dilemma is a problem that many popular franchises have to deal with. It generally follows a tremendously successful first season with a terrifyingly low-effort second season, highlighting the carelessness that may seep in following a great first season.

While Munawar might be right for some people, as shown by his tweet’s reach, Suman Kumar’s tweet has shown him that even the most indisputable concepts have exceptions.

Recently, Munawar Faruqui was also chastised for making fun of Justin Bieber’s paralysis on his show and eventually, he have to apologize for what he said.

Talking about Munawar Faruqui on a work front, he was recently seen at the Khatron Ke Khiladi 12 preview shoot event in May, alongside contestants such as Faisal Shaikh, Sriti Jha, Rubina Dilaik, Jannat Zubair, and Shivangi Joshi, but he has now confirmed that he will not be a part of the stunt-based reality show. He confirmed this in a statement he wrote on Instagram on Friday.
