Due to this, we can easily witness how commuters have littered the pathways of trains. However, railways have now started noticing this trend and raising voices against it. It all happened due to the viral video of a man who proudly throws litter from the train.

A guy named Dharmesh Barai recently took the initiative to expose one arrogant man who used to think that paying taxes would give him a license to litter our country. Dharmesh took to X (formerly Twitter) to share a video clip in which a man was seen tossing gutka packets out of his window seat on a train.

Upon being questioned about his behavior, the guy justified it by saying that he was entitled to trash at the station because he was paying for maintenance. Another passenger jokingly said that he should be given a reward for his deeds, to which the guy arrogantly replied,

To justify his actions, the man ignored the other passenger’s instruction to keep the packets in his pocket and discard them later in a trashcan. While sharing the video, Dharmesh captioned it, saying,

Sick mentality. This Gentleman gives maintenance to the @RailMinIndia to clean it and he will keep on doing filth and will not improve. How to deal with such idiots. They don’t deserve to travel. @Central_Railway @RailwaySeva @mumbairailusers @IndianRailUsers @swachhbharat.

Since being posted on X, the video has received more than 10,000 views. In the comments section, users expressed their outrage over the man’s “sick mentality.” While many people said that it is normal in Mumbai, others asked for stringent action against him.

Railways reacted to the viral video of an arrogant man throwing litter from the train

Needless to say, the matter has become the talk of the town, with many asking for authorities to take action on it. Now, the official Twitter account of Indian Railways has also reacted to it. Replying to the above-mentioned viral tweet of Dharmesh, Indian Railways wrote,

We’re concerned to see this & would like to help ASAP. We will require your train no. & mobile no. preferably via DM. You may also raise your concern directly on http://railmadad.indianrailways.gov.in or dial 139 for speedy redressal – RPF India
