A Delhi man’s witty reply to a Zomato notification has gone viral on social media

His response to the cheeky Zomato notification caught everyone’s attention on the internet. The Zomato user, Rishabh Kaushik is a visual effects artist, like others he received a notification from the food delivery giant that read,

“Akansha is on leave. So today, I’m asking you to order lunch. – Shefali, marketing team.”

Instead of ignoring the notification like most people, Kaushik decided to respond in a witty manner by sharing a screenshot of the Zomato notification on X and wrote,

“Hello @zomato, can you please tell Shefali that I’m on leave as well, and she can let me know if Akansha doesn’t have any plans for the day, we can go on lunch together.”

Zomato hasn’t yet responded to Mr Kaushik’s fun suggestion, but the netizens joined in on the fun

The Zomato notification attracted a series of humorous responses on X, with users flooding the comment section.

One user wrote,

“I got the same notification and funnily do have a girl named Akansha in my project, making this even more interesting.”

Another humorously suggested to ask Shefali to pay for the lunch,
