Kriti Sanon Writes A Heart-Wrenching Tribute To Sushant Singh Rajput

The entire industry has been mourning the loss of Sushant Singh Rajput and sharing tributes to the actor on social media. The incident also kickstarted a debate over Bollywood’s double standards. From hypocrisy for ignoring Sushant Singh Rajput since long but now mourning his death to slamming his friends from the industry for not paying tributes, the internet went berserk.

Right after Sushant’s death on Sunday, social media was filled with comments regarding Kriti’s reaction, considering she is rumoured to be his ex-girlfriend. Her sister, Nupur Sanon took to her Instagram to write off such trolls and asked that they be left alone so they can mourn in peace.

On 14th June 2020, Sushant Singh Rajput’s funeral rites were initiated that only saw a few celebrities turn out. Rhea Chakraborty, Varun Sharma, Abhishek & Pragya Kapoor, Rajkumar Rao, Vivek Oberoi, Shraddha Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon were the ones present among Singh Rajput’s family.

Kriti was rumoured to be in a relationship with Sushant. The two starred in the 2017 film Raabta directed by Dinesh Vijan. The two never confirmed or denied the news of their relationship.

While fans on social media are still reeling from the shock, seems like close friend and Raabta co-star, Kriti Sanon, was also dealing with the same. After remaining silent on social media these two days, Kriti finally took to her Instagram and expressed how hurt she is by his passing.

She pen a beautiful note for Sushant and wrote,

“Sush.. I knew that your brilliant mind was your best friend and your worst enemy.. but it has broken me completely to know that you had a moment in your life where Dying felt easier or better than Living. I so wish you had people around you to get you past THAT moment, i wish you hadn’t pushed the ones who loved you away.. i wish i could have fixed that something which was broken inside you..I couldn’t..
I wish so so many things….
A part of my heart has gone with you..💔 and a part will always keep you alive..
Never stopped praying for your happiness and never will..❤️“
