An X user, Mitra posted a photo with the Ramanagara hills in the background. The iconic Ramanagara Hills served as the fictional town of Rampur in the famous Bollywood film Sholay (1975) featuring Amitabh Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Hema Malini.
In the picture, Kushan Mitra can be seen standing cross-legged between two Scorpio cars. While sharing the picture, he asked,

The nostalgic tweet caught Mahindra’s eye, prompting him to retweet the post and respond to it
In his post, Mitra asked if ‘Basanti’, a character played by Hema Malini in the 1975 film, Sholay would have used a Mahindra Scorpio, instead of her horse-drawn cart if the movie were shot at the present time. Anand Mahindra gave a perfect reply to it.

He edited and changed the dialogue to “Kitne Scorpio The” and Gabbar’s henchman response to, “2 thi sardaar.”
