Kiren Rijiju reply Taapsee Pannu Boyfriend

The Income Tax Department recently conducted raids at the home and offices of Taapsee Pannu, Anurag Kashyap, Vikramaditya Motwane, Vikas Bahl and other other shareholders of Phantom Films. The raid was part of tax evasion probe against Phantom Films and was carried out across 28 locations Pune and Mumbai. It also covered Shibhasish Sarkar who is group CEO of Reliance Entertainment and few executives of celebrity and talent management companies KWAN and Exceed.

Anurag Kashyap and Taapsee are regular critics of government and their policies and have lent their voice to various causes which includes the ongoing farmer protest.

After the raids conducted at Taapsee’s property, Taapsee Pannu boyfriend Mathias Boe who was a former badminton player tweeted to Union Minister Kiren Rijiju asking for his help. Mathias tweeted that the raid has put stress not only on Taapsee but her family too. He tweeted,

“Finding myself in a bit of turmoil. Representing 🇮🇳 for the first time as a coach for some great athletes, meanwhile I-T department is raiding Taapsee’s houses back home, putting unnecessary stress on her family, especially her parents. 🤷‍♂️ . @KirenRijiju please do something 👍🏼 .”

Mathias Boe is a former badminton player from Denmark and has now taken up the role of India’s badminton coach. Mathias is a two time European champions in 2012 and 2017 and also received a silver at Summer Olympics 2012.

A day later, the Sports Minister responded to Mathias tweet and wrote,

“Law of the land is supreme and we must abide by that. The subject matter is beyond yours and my domain. We must stick to our professional duties in the best interest of Indian Sports.”

The raids were conducted in connection with the production and distribution company Phantom Films helmed by Anurag Kashyap, director Vikramaditya Motwane, producer Madhu Mantena and Vikas Bahl. The company was founded by the Quartet in 2011 before it was dissolved in October 2018.
