After tweeting about the Galwan crisis, actress Richa Chadha became the center of a debate and has been criticized from every direction.
It all started when critically acclaimed actress Richa Chadha responded in her now-deleted initial tweet to a statement made by Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi of the Northern Army Command on statements made by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh regarding regaining Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).

“Galwan says Hi.”
While Chadha, soon deleted her tweet and issued a public apology
After Richa she realizes her mistake her tweet went viral within seconds with many netizens accusing the actor of disrespecting the sacrifice of twenty Indian troops who lost their lives in the Galwan conflict in June 2020.
Not only from commoners, the actress also received criticism from her peers in the industry.

As Akshay Kumar raised his voice against her comment, a flurry of other artists his disgust with what she said.
Not only this, at the Juhu police station in Mumbai, filmmaker Ashoke Pandit filed a complaint against Richa Chadha on the charges that she disrespected and made fun of the Indian Army and the martyrs who lost their lives defending the nation in the Galwan Valley.

Kay Kay Menon reacts to Richa Chadha’s Galwan tweet
Actor Kay Kay Menon, who is well-known for portraying ‘Brigadier Rudra Pratap Singh’ in ‘Shaurya,’ also voiced his displeasure with what Richa tweeted.

Over 29 months have passed since India and China first erupted into a border confrontation in eastern Ladakh. Following the conflict in the Galwan Valley in eastern Ladakh in June 2020, the bilateral relationship experienced significant pressure.
While Richa was highly trolled for her comment, many people also took her side. Actress Swara Bhaskar and Prakash Raj tweeted took Chadha’s side openly. Nevertheless, she is still at the center of the whole fiasco.
