Yograj Singh, former cricketer and father of all-rounder Yuvraj Singh, dragged himself into a controversy as he revealed that after the then-India captain dropped him from the national team he wanted to kill Kapil Dev. This conversation happened in an unfiltered interview with YouTuber Samdish Bhatia in ‘Unfiltered by Samdish,’ which soon went viral on social media. Yograj Singh said that he once took a pistol to Kapil Dev’s house intending to put a bullet inside him.
Yograj Singh blames Kapil Dev
Singh claimed that when Kapil Dev became the captain of India, North Zone, and Haryana, he dropped him without any reason. He then recounted that he was so angry that he once visited Kapil’s house with a pistol, intending to confront him. Yograj reportedly hurled abuses standing outside Kapil’s home.

Yograj also accused other cricketing figures, including the late Bishan Singh Bedi, of conspiring against him.

“Kaun hai? Kaun hai? Kiski baat kar rahe ho? (Who is he? Who is he? Whom are you talking about?”

“Yograj Singh. Yuvraj Singh’s father.”
