Kangana Ranaut Hits Back At Jaya Bachchan And This War Of Words Is Getting Dirtier

Amid the controversy surrounding the demise of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the subsequent investigation in the case and the arrest of actress Rhea Chakraborty, several questions about alleged activities in the film industry have been raised.

Veteran actor and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan on charged that the film industry was being defamed and slammed and those from the industry itself were indulging in it, saying they are biting the hand that feed them. Jaya, alleging a ‘conspiracy to defame the film industry’, said on the second day of the Monsoon Session in Parliament. Previously, Kangana had called the film industry a ‘gutter’ and alleged that 99% of the people who work in it have been exposed to drugs.

While several citizens and celebrities did not agree with Jaya Bachchan and the comments she made in her speech, the most distasteful comment has come from none other than Kangana Ranaut who took this as an opportunity to personally attack Jaya Bachchan. Kangana tweeted,

“Jaya Ji would you say the same thing if in my place it was your daughter Shweta beaten, drugged and molested as a teenager, would you say the same thing if Abhishek complained about bullying and harassment constantly and found hanging one day? Show compassion for us also”

This war of words between Kangana Ranaut and the industry has evidently fallen to a new low. Dragging Jaya Bachchan’s children, Shweta and Abhishek Bachchan into this was uncalled for. Many on the internet, have been pin-pointing how you cannot justify wrong with another wrong.
