Kangana Ranaut Slammed Sonam Kapoor

In a series of shocking events, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s property was demolished by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Wednesday. Last week, Kangana Ranaut stirred a controversy after she compared Mumbai to ‘Pakistan-occupied Kashmir‘ as she criticized Mumbai Police over their investigation on the death case of Sushant Singh Rajput.

Many politicians including Maharashtra’s home minister Anil Deshmukh saying that ‘she has no right to stay in Mumbai’. What added more fuel to the fire was Shiv Sena’s Sanjay Raut using a cuss word for the actress and giving her an ‘open threat’ on live Television.

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut has arrived in Mumbai, flanked by security guards provided by the home ministry on September 9th, hours after BMC carried out a partial demolition of her property, citing structural irregularities. Later, she also paid a visit to the property and surveyed the damage.

Now few Bollywood celebrities have started coming out and condemning the demolition of Kangana’s office property by Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC). The latest one to open about the shameless act of BMC was Sonam Kapoor, who took to her twitter and condemn harassment done by BMC on Kangana Ranaut. Sonam had shared Mahatma Gandhi’s quote on Twitter.

Retweeting Dia Mirza’s tweet, Sonam Kapoor wrote:

Earlier, Dia Mirza, who was the first one from Bollywood to react on the demolition done by BMC, took stand for Kangana Ranaut and reminded everyone that it isn’t the time to take stands. She wrote:

“Condemn the demolition of Kangana’s office. Condemn the harassment and abuse against Rhea. This is not about taking sides. This is about calling out what is unjust. Remember this could happen to you.”

Kangana Ranaut was quick to respond to Sonam Kapoor’s statements on her and Rhea Chakraborty‘s case. In her reply, Kangana shared a piece of article and slammed ‘mafia bimbos’ to not compare her struggles to someone who was living off a superstar. She wrote:

“All of sudden mafia bimbos have started to seek justice for Rhea ji through my house tragedy, my fight is for people don’t compare my struggles to a small time druggie who was living off a vulnerable and broken, self made super star, stop this right away.”
