Jawan Star Cast Fees – Here’s How Much Shah Rukh Khan To Deepika Charged For The Film

This year started with Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movie Pathaan, as he returned to the big screen after 4 years. Now that we are in the middle of the year, he is back with another thrilling movie, Jawan. Atlee’s Jawan is one of the most anticipated movies in Bollywood of recent times. Jawan was released on September 7, 2023, and instantly became a blockbuster.

It is noteworthy that the film has not only dominated the box office but also inspired passionate excitement among fans. Before sunrise, eager viewers went to Indian theaters to celebrate the debut of SRK’s newest film. They danced in the streets and let off fireworks in joyful shows of enthusiasm. As per many reports, Atlee’s Jawan has an astonishing budget of Rs 300 crore. It has a superb star cast, including Shah Rukh Khan, Vijay Sethupathi, and Nayantara, along with a supporting cast of Deepika Padukone, Sunil Grover, and some others.

This movie has garnered love and appreciation from a large audience. However, not many know how much actors were paid. So, here’s what we know about their remunerations:

1. Shah Rukh Khan – ₹100 crore

Shah Rukh Khan, the King Khan of Bollywood, showcases an example of versatility in acting. He is said to be portraying a dual role in Atlee’s Jawan. One of his characters is named Vikram in the movie. Reportedly, SRK has charged a hefty sum of Rs 100 crore. It is also said that he has asked for 60 percent of the film’s profit.

2. Nayantara – ₹10 crore

Nayantara is one of the most beautiful and awesome actresses in the South movie Industry. She made her Bollywood debut with the movie Jawan, alongside Shah Rukh Khan. Nayantara played the character named Narmada, Vikram’s love interest in the movie. She has been reportedly paid Rs 10 crore for her role.

3. Vijay Sethupathi – ₹21 crore

Vijay Sethupathi is one of the most iconic and exceptionally talented actors in South Indian cinema. He has a reputation for being a deadly antagonist in the South movies. In Jawan too, he plays the role of Kaalie Gaikwad, an international weapons dealer in the movie. Sethupathi is reported to get an amount of Rs 21 crore for his immense acting and role.

4. Deepika Padukone – ₹20 – 30 crore

Deepika Padukone is one of the leading actresses in the Bollywood industry and has a net worth of Rs. 500 crore. She is playing a supporting role, Aishwarya Rathore, mother to Azad Rathore (Shah Rukh Khan), in this movie. For this, she reportedly charged an amount of Rs 20–30 crore for her role.

5. Sunil Grover – ₹75 lakh

Sunil Grover is one of the most famous actors and comedians in the Bollywood industry. He is most known for his comedic role in The Kapil Sharma Show and his role in a web series called Sunflower. In Atlee’s Jawan, Grover is playing the role of an officer named Irani. It is reported that he got Rs 75 lakh for his role in the movie.

6. Sanya Malhotra – ₹1-3 crore

Sanya Malhotra is one of the most famous and cute-looking actresses in Bollywood. She is most known for her roles in movies like Dangal, Badhai Ho, etc. In Atlee’s Jawan, she plays the role of Dr. Eeram, one of Azad Rathore’s (Shah Rukh Khan’s) team members. It is reported that this movie is her first collaboration with SRK for which she reportedly got Rs. 1–3 crore for this movie.

7. Priyamani – ₹1 – 2 crore

The amazing actress Priyamani is also part of the star-studded cast of SRK’s recently released Jawan.  Interestingly, she collaborated with SRK on the popular song “One, Two, Three, Four” from “Chennai Express” and Jawan was their second project. In the Atlee-directed movie, Priyamani played the role of Lakshmi for which she is supposedly paid between Rs. 1 – 2 crore for her job.

8. Yogi Babu – ₹35 lakh

With an interesting twist, actor Yogi Babu played a pivotal role in the South Indian versions of the character played by Mukesh Chhabra in the Hindi version of the film Jawan. The film’s cross-cultural popularity was demonstrated in this unique scenario, in which two separate actors played the same character in two different languages. In the Telugu and Tamil versions, Yogi Babu portrayed Pappu and earned Rs 35 lakh for his role, marking his presence in the film industry.
