Indian Railways often faces backlash from its passengers for its poor management and facilities especially during the rush seasons like during festivals like Diwali. The woe of ticketless passengers traveling in reserved coaches is a constant, the trains on some routes are always overcrowded and there is no one to manage such situations aggravating the trouble of passengers. Some of them often post their grievances on social media.
A recent incident went viral on social media X when a user shared an image of his newlywed bride sitting near the toilet
An X user, Jitesh with username @Chaotic_mind99 shared a post on his account, sharing an image of a woman sleeping near a toilet door. He sarcastically thanked the Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnav for his and his wife’s plight and wrote,

“Thank you Ashwini Vaishnavji.. Today my wife is getting this world class train facility because of you. I will always be grateful to you.”
In the image, the woman can be seen wearing a bright red saree, her head covered with ghunghat sitting on the floor with her luggage. As the post went viral, people came in to support the poor woman.

What an irresponsible person you are, can’t reserve a seat in advance for yourself & wife and blaming the ministry for your own irresponsibility. Loser.

If she is traveling in a reserved coach without a confirmed reservation, she is violating the law. You should be ashamed of yourself for failing her as a husband by not booking her train reservation on time. Thankfully, the railway authorities showed leniency and did not ask her…

One user asked the complainant why he was not responding to Railway’s post for a solution. The user asked,
1. Why aren’t you replying to repeated messages from Railway Seva with the necessary details? You may get lucky with full refund!
2. I don’t think IR allows any passenger without a reserved ticket onboard a reserved compartment.
3. You’ve a blue tick, that means you’ve enough money for your necessities which includes travel.
