Flipkart iPhone 13 Order cancel

One of the most popular e-commerce platforms has started selling items at a very cheap rate on its website!

On its website, Flipkart started holding The Big Billion Days sale from September 23, 2022, through September 30, 2022. For those who don’t want to buy the more costly iPhone 14, which starts at Rs 79,900 in India, the company is giving the iPhone 13 during this sale for less than Rs 50,000, making it a profitable offer.

However, some Flipkart customers are complaining that the online store is cancelling their purchases for the iPhone 13 with no explanation or prior notification. Soon, it went on to become one of the most talked about topics on various social media platforms.

Along with the canceled iPhone 13 orders, Flipkart customers are also dissatisfied with the retailer’s practice of raising the sale price of the smartphone.

The firm said it would sell the iPhone 13 for less than Rs 50,000 during the Big Billion Days Sale sneak peek, but now it is selling the gadget for about Rs 57,000, which is less than the usual price of the smartphone. This has angered interested purchasers. In India, the price of the iPhone 13 is Rs 69,900.

Now, Flipkart has opened up about this whole fiasco and their own part of the story. So let’s find out what they said:

Flipkart clarifies its stand on the controversy surrounding the widespread cancellation of iPhone 13 orders

The e-commerce portal Flipkart, which is under criticism over some iPhone 13 purchases that were canceled, stated on Monday that a small number of orders for the device were canceled by sellers “due to anomalies.”

It also claimed that less than 3% of the orders had been cancelled by vendors as a result of “anomalies”. In his official statement, the company’s spokesperson said,

“A minor fraction of orders (less than 3 percent of all orders) have been cancelled by sellers due to anomalies.”

The statement added,

“As a customer-focused e-commerce marketplace, we encourage sellers to prioritise the customers’ orders and strive to keep them delighted with their service.”

It went on to claim,

“70 per cent of all iPhone orders placed across cities have been successfully delivered by the sellers.”

The new Apple iPhone 13 has been in high demand from customers on Amazon and competitor Flipkart. The premium iPhone 13 is being sold throughout the festival season for about Rs 50,000.
