Lately, in Ghaziabad, a man faced some bizarre turn of events that can turn into someone’s nightmare. A man placed an order for a mobile phone through the popular e-commerce platform Flipkart and was shocked to see the unexpected contents of the package.
A man received stones inside the Flipkart package instead of his Rs 22,000 mobile phone
The Flipkart customer ordered an Infinix Zero 30 5G phone that cost Rs 22,000. Just when he was anticipating his Rs 22,000 mobile phone delivery, his excitement turned into disappointment. While unboxing the package he found only stones inside the package.

To add to his frustration, when he tried to return the package, the return request was rejected by Flipkart.
He took to the social media platform, X and tweeted about this incident which went viral

The post got widespread attention and netizens raised questions about the quality control measures employed by online retailers.
Flipkart responded to the post and apologized for the mishap
They promised to investigate further and ensure such incidents are not repeated. They said,
“We’d never want you to get anything but what you ordered and are extremely sorry about this instance. To assist you further, kindly provide us with your order details via private chat so that they remain confidential here. Awaiting your response.”

Further, the company cautioned customers not to respond to social media handles impersonating them. They wrote,
