Tesla CEO Elon Musk who is well-known for being the world’s richest person is also a big controversial figure in every way. From his professional life to his personal life, every facet of his life is full of controversy.

Talking about recent controversy, while Musk is embroiled in a legal battle with Twitter Inc. over the $44 billion takeover offer, his personal life has taken center stage.

After the accusations surfaced that his friendship with Google co-founder Sergey Brin was strained as a result of the Space X CEO’s alleged romance with his wife and that he was the cause of their divorce, Elon Musk’s personal life has become a hot topic of discussion.

While Elon Musk is infamous for having multiple affairs, this time, Elon disputed all allegations of a falling out with Sergey and the suspected affair with his wife.

WSJ’s claims about Musk’s affair with Google co-founder’s wife, Nicole Shanahan

The Tesla founder denied the allegations after the Wall Street Journal published a report claiming that sources close to the situation told them that Sergey Brin and his wife Nicole Shanahan ended their marriage earlier this year, referencing “irreconcilable differences,” and that Musk’s alleged affair with her was the reason for their friendship to end. Musk even asked for Brin’s forgiveness according to the reports.

Elon Musk hits out at WSJ multiple times

Recently, Elon Musk hit out at the above-mentioned report from the Wall Street Journal by responding to one Twitter user’s tweet in which the user shared the same report. He wrote in the reply,

“This is total bs. Sergey and I are friends and were at a party together last night! I’ve only seen Nicole twice in three years, both times with many other people around. Nothing romantic.”

Responding to another user’s tweet who criticized WSJ for writing this alleged “baseless report,” he tweeted,

“WSJ has run so many bs hit pieces on me and Tesla I’ve lost count! It’s embarrassing for them, frankly. They once wrote an article saying FBI was about to arrest me, so I called FBI to ask what’s up and they said WSJ article was total bs. Just more shortseller fud.”

Replying to one Tesla fan page named Tesla Owners Silicon Valley’s tweet, he wrote,

Call them out on it, I guess. WSJ is supposed to have a high standard for journalism and, right now, they are way sub tabloid. WSJ should be running stories that actually matter to their readers and have solid factual basis, not third-party random hearsay

Replying to another Tesla fan page named Tesla hype, he wrote,

Yeah, the character assassination attacks have reached a new level this year, but the articles are all nothing-burgers. I work crazy hours, so there just isn’t much time for shenanigans. None of the key people involved in these alleged wrongdoings were even interviewed!

Musk once again took to Twitter and this time his post seems to be photo evidence of his friendship with Brin

Meanwhile, Shanahan and Brin’s divorce is in process and reportedly both sides are discussing the settlement amount.

We don’t know how reliable the WSJ’s report is, or if Elon Musk is correct. But this controversy will surely not end easily.
