Let me inform you that images and a video of mops and a toilet brush hanging over pizza dough in a Domino’s outlet in Bengaluru went across social media, leaving Twitter in a state of shock. Notably, the restaurant is situated on Hosa Road in Bengaluru.

The images display mops and toilet brushes dangling just over the outlet’s uncooked dough that is being prepared to produce pizzas. Have a look at the photos and videos:

The pictures have outraged many pizza enthusiasts. The Twitter users pleaded with the government to punish them severely as these photos and videos show the horrible circumstances in which the food is made in the world-class establishment.

After facing harsh criticism Domino’s responded

The Pizza chain replied to these claims by reassuring its consumers that the firm respects the “highest standards of hygiene and food safety.” They wrote in a tweet,

“We adhere to stringent world-class protocols for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and food safety. We have zero tolerance for violations of these operating standards. The incident brought to our notice will be thoroughly investigated and basis the findings”

The statement also added,

“appropriate measures will be rolled out.  Rest assured we remain committed to doing everything necessary towards ensuring the safety and well-being of our customers”
