Diljit Dosanjh is an Indian singer, actor, and film producer who primarily works in Punjabi and Hindi cinema. With the release of his 11th album, G.O.A.T in 2020, Dosanjh charted on the Social 50 chart by Billboard. This year, Diljit started a global concert tour called Dil Luminati.
When Diljit performed in Jaipur earlier this month, several videos of his female fans getting emotional and crying went viral on social media. However, several users trolled the girls for crying out loud.

Diljit slammed the trolls who made fun of the female fans for crying at his concert
The pop star recently performed in Hyderabad as part of his Dil-Luminati India Tour. During his Hyderabad show, he addressed the trolls and expressed that it is okay to be overwhelmed. He also mentioned that people who love music can only relate to this. Diljit Dosanjh has millions of fans who love his music. He won hearts once again, by supporting his female fans who were trolled for crying at the Jaipur leg of the Dil-luminati tour.
Dosanjh further questioned the trolls mocking his female fans and told them not to mock ‘desk ki beti’
The Punjabi singer said,
“It’s okay; it’s okay to cry. Music is an emotion; it has a smile, it has a dance, it fights, it has a fall, it cries. I have also cried a lot listening to music. Only those who have emotions can cry. I got you, I got you, don’t you worry about that. These girls—no one can stop them. They are independent; not only men but women earn, too. They earn and can enjoy themselves”
He also added,
“Inna da apmaan karrahe ho, tussi desh di beti da apmaan karrae ho, main tenu das diya gal (You are insulting her, you are insulting the daughter of the country, I’m telling you)”
On Saturday, Dosanjh posted the clip on his Instagram account, consoling fans that it was okay to get emotional. The caption read,

The star continued that he has also been emotional by the influence of music and had cried several times
The ‘Lover’ fame singer continued in Punjabi,
“There is smile, dance, bhangra, gidda and even crying in it. I myself have cried several times after listening to music. Only those people who have emotions can cry. I got you, don’t you worry about that. No one should stop a girl. They are independent; not only men but women earn, too. They earn and can enjoy themselves.”

About Diljit Dosanjh’s Dil-luminati tour
Diljit commenced the India leg of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024 in New Delhi in October. His grand concert will end in Guwahati on December 29.

Meanwhile, before his Hyderabad show, Diljit also received a notice from the Telangana government which requested him not to sing songs at the event that promote alcohol, drugs, or violence. The notice also warned Dosanjh not to “use children” during his show as loud sounds and flashing lights during the concert are harmful to the children.
