In the IPL 2025 Mega Auction, it came as a surprise to many that David Warner went unsold along with several prominent players, including Jonny Bairstow, Prithvi Shaw, Shardul Thakur, and Kane Williamson. Fans were shocked when David, who has been a part of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Delhi Capitals went unsold. The Southpaw had been in impressive form in the previous IPL tournaments.

An X user recently posted that he won’t stop tweeting unless his favorite cricketer, David Warner responds
An X user by the handle CricRaj_45 took to social media and tagged David on his post that read,

He mentioned that this was his Day 1 tweet and he would continue doing that unless he gets a reply from the Australian cricketer.

To everyone’s surprise, David Warner quickly responded to his tweet
He replied to the Indian fan’s tweet on the social media platform, X. He replied with a Hi with multiple i’s showing his enthusiasm. Warner wrote,

His mere ‘Hi’ was enough to make the fan happy who was waiting for the reply.
After his response, the tweet became viral and netizens flooded the comments section with their responses

This is not the first time that the Australian cricketer has responded to a fan on X (previously Twitter). He previously replied to an Indian fan after he shared Warner’s photos for 23 days waiting for his reply. The then Delhi Capitals player replied with a “Hiiiiiii” with folded hands emojis.

The fan even thanked David Warner for noticing and replying to his tweet and wished him luck for the Pakistan series and the IPL.
